A WooCommerce store for a school-uniform maker: parents find their school, build its exact kit by season, class and age, and check out in one basket.
Built byAhsan NadeemAhad Brothers makes school and college uniforms in its own workshop and sells them from its shops in Lahore, along with school bags, shoes, lunch boxes, water bottles, stationery and costumes.
Selling uniforms online is harder than selling most clothing. Every partner school has its own approved kit, and the right pieces change with the season and the child's gender, class and age. A plain product grid would leave parents guessing, and a wrong order means another trip to the shop.
The shop needed an online store that guides parents to exactly the right uniform, and that its own team can keep up to date without a developer.
ZNova designed the storefront and built it as a custom WordPress theme in PHP, on top of WooCommerce. It's written the WordPress way, with no page builder: theme settings live in the Customizer, and WooCommerce runs the catalogue, basket, checkout, customer accounts and orders.
The heart of the store is a school uniform finder. Each school is its own content type, searchable through a small REST endpoint, so parents can type a school's name or browse every partner school by its logo. On a school's page they choose the season, gender, class and age, and the kit builder shows exactly the pieces that school requires, each with its own size and price. They tick what they need and add the whole kit to the basket in one go.
Around it, the theme covers shop categories, product pages with Add to cart and Buy now, and a mobile bottom bar that keeps schools, search, WhatsApp, the cart and the account one tap away. Store emails go out through FluentSMTP, and pages are cached with LiteSpeed Cache on managed Hostinger hosting.
Parents can find their school's approved uniform and order it online in a few taps, together with everything else on the school list. They can pay cash on delivery, with delivery across Pakistan, or message the shop on WhatsApp first if they're unsure.
The shop manages products, schools and orders from the WordPress dashboard, so adding a partner school is an editing task, not a development job. ZNova also built Ahad Brothers' billing and inventory system, so the counter and the online store run on software from the same team.

From what people see down to what it runs on, with the stack behind each layer.
The capabilities that went live, one card each.
Parents search for their school by name, or browse every partner school, to see its approved uniform.
Season, gender, class and age narrow the kit to the exact pieces, each with its own size and price.
Uniform pieces, bags, shoes, lunch kit and stationery all go into the same basket and checkout.
A bottom bar keeps schools, search, WhatsApp, the cart and the account one tap away.
Products and schools are managed in the WordPress dashboard, and theme settings in the Customizer.
Order and account emails are sent through an SMTP service with FluentSMTP, not the server's own mail.
The engineering calls behind the build, and why they were made.
The theme is hand-written PHP that follows WordPress conventions, so the store carries no page-builder weight and the owner still edits it with standard WordPress tools.
Each school is a post with its own kit, so adding a partner school is an editing task, not a code change.
Basket, checkout, payments and orders use WooCommerce rather than custom code, so they stay maintained and compatible with its extensions.
